Our Team

Fay Egan

Operations Manager

Fay has always been an animal lover and being with them is where she is most happy. Trained at University College Dublin, Ireland as a Veterinary Technician, she became the Practice Manager of a busy City Centre Veterinary group in Dublin, and frequently volunteered with animal organizations. Fay moved to Vancouver in 2014 where she joined the Jet Pet team with its new ownership and is enjoying the change in career. She always knew she would work with animals; she especially enjoys dog training. Delighted to be a part of the Jet Pet team, Fay is determined to provide the best care for all of her guests.

Alysha Bot

Veterinary Office Assistant / Lead Pet Specialist

Alysha has been a Pet Specialist at Jet Pet since March 2012. Her background as a Veterinary Assistant in several clinics and animal shelters made the move to Jet Pet the next natural step when it came time for a change in work environment. Having lived in Vancouver and around animals all her life, Alysha’s favourite things naturally include spending time outdoors with her family, both two-legged and four, which include her Kuvasz-cross named Khai, her two rescue cats Cessna and Jellybean, and a horse.

Sydney Spare

PET SPECIALIST

Sydney’s love for animals started at an early age. From having dogs, birds, rabbits and bearded dragons, she has always had pets in her life. She started volunteering at JetPet in 2015, fell in love with the job, and now works part-time. After high school, Sydney plans to continue working with animals. In her spare time, Sydney enjoys taking her Bluetick Coonhound, Max, and her Pointer, Dexter, on long walks and to dog parks to socialize with other dogs. Her favourite part of working at JetPet is getting to spend all day taking care of and hanging out with dogs and cats!

Benjamin Samy

PET SPECIALIST

Ben’s passion for animals started early, as they were always a part of his life growing up in Richmond, BC. After winning the AAA BC Provincial Championship for basketball in 2011, Ben travelled around Europe and Asia before making his way back home to pursue a career with animals. Since his start with the Jet Pet team in 2014, Ben combines his love of sports and animals by keeping the resort’s guests fit with games of catch with the big dogs or chase in the courtyard with the little ones.

Ines Lepojevic

FRONT OF HOUSE

That friendly voice you hear when you call to book your furry family members in at Jet Pet Resort? Meet Ines Lepojevic. Growing up with a Staffordshire Terrier as a best friend and guardian dog, Ines’ bond with her childhood best furry friend blossomed into a life-long passion for animals. Now, Ines is the proud mom to a rescue bunny named Stella and hopes to pursue her lifelong dream and open her own animal rescue shelter one day.

Kate Tremblay

Pet Specialist

Growing up with cats and dogs fostered Kate’s love of animals. Excited to expand her knowledge and pursue her passion for animals while making some life long furry friends, Kate is thrilled to be working at Jet Pet. She currently lives with her two cats and golden retriever.

Lisa Coan

Pet Specialist

Lisa’s most rewarding experience to date was caring for the dogs at the Vancouver Animal Control Shelter where she volunteered as a dog walker and puppy playmate, taking her job to provide them with emotional support and compassion seriously. Ready to play and have fun rain or shine, Lisa is excited to join Jet Pet and get to know their furry clientele (and human too!). She has been a devoted pet parent herself over the years, and currently lives with Peter the rabbit.

Andrew Cathers

Cleaner

Born in Vancouver, Andrew Cathers grew up in Whistler walking dogs at Whistler Animals Galore, a non-profit shelter dedicated to rescuing and re-homing stray cats and dogs. Andrew went on to take a three month dog basic obedience course to further his pet care knowledge and is now excited to be part of the Jet Pet team and continue working with animals.

Really amazing people working here. I’ve never seen my little guy run to people like that. They really took the time to get to know him and they always take super good care of him.
