Your pet’s safety is our first priority! We have put careful thought into every aspect of our service to ensure their stay with us is relaxed, comfortable, and safe! Our facility is designed to maximize fun in a secure environment. Please note that we only allow vaccinated and socialized pets into our resorts for everyone’s well being.

What is the level of training your staff have?

Each and every one of our Pet Specialists have Walks ‘N’ Wags Pet First Aid training, undergo multiple training shifts prior to starting, and receive ongoing training on the job. Our Director of Operations, Fay Egan, is a qualified Veterinary Technician with 10+ years of experience working with animals and many of our full time staff are also qualified Veterinary Assistants.

We also provide further training on-site:

  • Ongoing on-the-job training with senior staff
  • Walks ‘N’ Wags Pet First Aid certification
  • Online refresher training, utilizing the Thinkific platform

Why do you require vaccinations?

We want to provide a safe and healthy environment for all of our pet guests. Up-to-date vaccinations help prevent the spread of diseases, thereby ensuring a quality visit/stay for all of our guests.

Do you have a vet that you use in case Medical Treatment is required?

Each Jet Pet location is connected with a local veterinarian in the community that is on call for any treatment needed while your pet is under our care. If such an emergency were to arise, we would contact you immediately.  

Are you prepared in the case of an emergency evacuation?

Each Jet Pet location has a full evacuation plan in place and is registered with the local fire department in case of emergency. We also provide team training on evacuation procedures annually.

How do you ensure the dogs play safely?

We meet every pet prior to admittance to Jet Pet. Within our facilities we offer several play zones, including ones that are designated for more active play and those that are more docile. Each area is carefully monitored by Pet Specialists as well as cameras at all times.

How do you ensure a routine feeding schedule and medications are properly administered?

Each location utilizes a sophisticated online service platform called Paw Loyalty which allows us to track and schedule all special services like meal times and medication requirements. This digital platform ensures we can cater to individual needs by displaying all of the daily services for every guest on large flatscreen TVs that are accessible to our entire team, reducing the possibility for human error and creating an unparalleled experience for our clients.

Why do you have an online application?

We want to provide your pet with the same level of care they would receive from you. By having pet parents fill out our application, it allows us to view care for your pets from your perspective, in your words. We use an online eSignature service which integrates with our client platform to minimize the transfer of incorrect information and helps us to create an easily accessible personalized profile for each pet guest to ensure the best stay possible.

How do you ensure that pets don’t get out of the facility?

Our facility is designed with emphasis on the safety of our entry and exits. All access points have a double door system and each suite features a round knob that can only be locked from the outside to prevent clever paws from opening latches.

What if my pet gets sick while I am away?

We will contact you as soon as there is any issue with your pet and make arrangements to have them see your regular vet if necessary. If it is an emergency situation or location-dependent, we will take your pet to see one of the certified vets that we work with on a regular basis. Our team also has multiple Veterinary Assistants on staff who are able to quickly assess and proceed with care as needed.

Do you take in puppies?

Yes, we board puppies, but they must be vaccinated. Puppies must have Bordetella and Distemper. All guests over 5 months old are required to be vaccinated for Rabies.

What kind of exercise will my dog get?

All guests have the opportunity to socialize and play in both the outside play area and chase in the inner courtyard.

Why do we place such a high value on an eco-friendly environment?

Being an animal lover naturally means caring for their environment. The best way to do that is by looking after what we have. Jet Pet aims to keep a small carbon footprint and recycles where possible.

Other than your testimonials, can you provide any references for your service?

Yes! There are many reviews on Facebook, Yelp and Google. We encourage new clients to seek out these reviews as they are independently posted by clients who have used our services.

What is your cancellation policy?

Jet Pet Resort requires a 50% deposit at the time of booking. We are happy to offer a refund if plans change more than one month before your pet’s stay. This becomes a credit on your account for future stays with us. Unfortunately we are unable to credit an account if the stay has begun or has passed and we are not notified (no-show). No refunds will be issued if you pick up your pet at an earlier date than scheduled.

Alternatively, if you require emergency care, contact us and if we have availability, we’ll book your pet in that same day.

Do you require a signature or waivers to be signed?

Jet Pet takes advantage of a user-friendly system called Eversign. We will email you an online application form that takes approximately 10 minutes to fill out with all of your pet’s important information and includes an online, digital signature. Once completed, it automatically creates a guest profile that our Pet Care Specialists can access to familiarize themselves with all the needs of your pet while in our care.

What is your vaccination policy and why?

Jet Pet Resort requires all pets in our care to comply with our vaccination policy. We recognize the importance of appropriate vaccinations in keeping all dogs healthy, and recommend that all clients take preventative measures by keeping their dog’s vaccinations up-to-date as recommended by their veterinarian.

We respect each guest and their desire to have a safe, positive stay at our resort. Our vaccination policy allows for this, and for each pet to have a safe, fun stay.

What will my dog do during the day?

Jet Pet has developed a unique Dog Purposeful approach to care, which includes special attention paid to fun, engaging experience at our facilities. Dogs are offered a balance of play, human interaction, problem solving, and time for rest. We provide time for a nap at least once a day (or more if needed), plenty of opportunity for play and social time, offer indoor and outdoor facilities, along with walks ensure the right mix of stimulation. Our team provides love, cuddles and one-on-one time each and every day. Your pup can rely on a routine and rhythm to their day at Jet Pet, just as they are able to do at home.

Pet parents can choose to add an afternoon in our on-site Pet Spa to their dog’s stay.

Will I receive updates of my dogs stay?

Yes, we are actively engaged on Facebook, via email and by phone. We post daily photos and videos of our dog guests enjoying the resort and their new friends. We also broadcast a daily live pet cam feed so that you can catch your pup during playtime in the group. Check out our Live Pet Cam page to see all the activity.

If you’ve selected a room with a webcam, you can login and connect with your pup to see them in their room during breakfast and at dinner time.

At the end of your pup’s stay, we send you home with a full report, including what they did for fun and who they hung out with.

Why Does Jet Pet offer more services than just overnight care?

Jet Pet believes that a well-rounded dog is a happy dog. We have structured our business to reflect this philosophy, with the added convenience of a one-stop place you can trust for trained dog walkers, boarders, daycare, and as a safe haven for your dog while you’re away.

Can I tour Jet Pet?

We would love to have you come tour one of our facilities and get acquainted with your pet’s home-away-from-home. Tours are available daily. Reservations are recommended, but not required. Please check with each location about tours ahead of time. During our peak periods, please call ahead to ensure tours are available.

In the event that your pet joins us for a tour, we ask that they please wait for you in the lobby. This is to ensure the health of your pet, as well as of our current guests. Your pet will be supervised by one of our pet concierges until you have concluded your visit.
